After graduation I started my Cosmetology career working in a beauty salon. In 1970 my first daughter, Cathy was born on Christmas Eve and in 1973 my second daughter, Jennifer was born. I started college in 1984 to get my degree to become a Cosmetology Teacher. Mrs. Marcia Batley, my former Cosmetology teacher inspired me to pursue teaching. In 1988 I was hired at TST BOCES in Ithaca, NY and I taught Cosmetology for 22 years. It was my dream job!
I met my husband John at TST and we were married January 1, 1993. After retirement we moved to the mountains of North Carolina. We love it here, there is so much to do and we seem to be busy all the time, and we often wonder how we ever had time to work!!
