    Michael George Marmuscak, 60, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at his home in Duanesburg, NY, following an extended illness.
    Born June 9, 1949, in Corning, NY, he attended St. Mary Parochial School, Corning-Painted Post East High School, and graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He was employed as an engineer with BASF Corporation prior to his illness.
    Nothing was more important to Mike than his family. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed attending bluegrass festivals, hunting and camping with his family and friends. Mike enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and generously volunteered his time to various community projects. Mike’s many friends and neighbors will miss his keen insights and the quick wit and terrific sense of humor he maintained throughout his courageous struggle.
    He is survived by his loving wife and caregiver Suzanne (French) Marmuscak and son Adam Michael Marmuscak of Duanesburg, NY; parents Michael and Catherine (Yorio) Marmuscak of Lake Placid, FL; sister Elizabeth Marmuscak Taylor of Hartsville, SC; brother Thomas Gene (Debra) Marmuscak of Corning, NY; brother Gerald Vincent (Marjorie) Marmuscak of Schenectady, NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, nephews, and many close friends.
    He is predeceased by maternal grandparents Pius and Anna Yorio, paternal grandparents George and Susanna Marmuscak.
    A memorial service will ne held Saturday, November 28, 2009, at: The Lynnwood Reformed Church, 3714 Carmen Road, Schenectady, NY 12303, at 1:00p.m.

I am so sorry to hear that we have lost another one of our classmates. Even though we were not goof friends in highschhol, i can still remember what a big smile he had..  His biogrpahy shows he had a life worth living and that his family and friends loved him.. a better epitaph  could a person ask for. Rest in peace, Mike. God bless your family.
