Brian Cole Bills, 64 of 9685 Crystal Beach Road, Hammondsport, NY, passed away Friday, September 13th, 2013 in the Rochester General Hospital Rochester, NY after a sudden illness. 

Born in Corning, NY, Brian was the son of the late Elmer and Leota (Adsit) Bills.

He was formerly married to Susan Reynolds who survives. 

He graduated from Corning East High School, class of 1967. 

He served three years with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict, being stationed in Korea. 

Brian was a carpenter for many years with Hough Builders, Penn Yan, NY and spent many years with
Corning Glass Works. 

He was a member of the Wayne, NY American Legion Post #1208 and was a former member of the Town of Wayne Planning Board. 

He loved spending time at his home on Keuka Lake and enjoyed photography, gardening, collecting music albums, and helping out his neighbors with their odd jobs. 

A big NY Giants fan, he watched a lot of NFL. Above all, he had a passion for family, and loved spending time with them. 

Surviving are two sons: Eric Bills of Hammondsport, NY and David Bills of Corning, NY; one brother, Alan Bills of Rochester, NY; one sister, Cheryl Bills of Painted Post, NY; grandson,Logan Cole Bills of Corning, NY. He was predeceased by a brother David W. Bills.

Friends may call at the Phillips Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, Wednesday, September 18th 4:00 from 7:00pm

Services will follow at 7:00pm.

Burial with military honors will be Thursday at 10:00 am in McDowell Cemetery, Town of Wayne.
