Martin Amati, 53, of 24 Orangewood Drive, Liverpool, died Tuesday of cancer. Born in Corning, he graduated from Clarkson University with bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and received a master's degree from LeMoyne College. He worked for Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. for 27 years and was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Liverpool. Survivors: His wife of 30 years, the former Deborah Darcangelo; a daughter, Elizabeth Amati of Liverpool; two sons, Michael of Cambridge, Mass., and Nicholas of Saratoga Springs. Services: 9:15 a.m. Friday at Mauer Funeral Home Moyers Corners and 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church. Burial, Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
